Key areas in industries related to Internet of Things (IOT): Give priority to key technologies and products including sensors, WSN nodes, central control chips and embedded chips, telecommunication technologies and relevant products, network structure and information procession, integrated system, demonstrated application of software and WSN, and cultivate the industrial cluster of Internet of Things with independent intellectual rights.

Wuxi National Sensor Information Center was officially established at the approval of the State Council in November 2009, and it has 3 branches: New District Branch, Binhu Branch and Nanchang Branch.

One of major IOT branch, Wuxi (New District) National Sensor Information Center occupies an are of 23 square kilometers. It is an innovative science and technology park and waterfront community, which is oriented to technological research and development and independent innovation and based on hi-tech and new technologies, with affiliated culture & leisure facilities, business service and ecological residence; and it will be built into a core demonstration zone as the center of “Sensing Chain”.

As planned, the demonstration zone in the park will cover an area of 10.8 square kilometers and adopts an overall pattern of “four parks plus one center”: WSN Innovation Park, WSN Industrial Park, WSN Information Service Park, WSN University Science & Technology Park and National Application Exhibition Center of Internet of Things. With the aim to lead the development of China’s internet of Things, the Park, stimulated with innovation and driven by applications, is to take the opportunity of the era, gather all the advantages and resources, take the commanding height for industrial development, optimize and innovate the start-up environment, and set up a national-level innovation demonstration zone of sensor network in accordance with the industrial layout of “ one core and diversification”.
